Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif Land on Most Dangerous List for Bollywood Movie Stars

Bollywood babes Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif have landed in an illustrious group known as the "Most Dangerous" list. What exactly is it that makes these two Indian celebrities so hazardous?

While Aishwarya Rai's baby has been a popular topic on the minds of fans of the Bollywood star, it appears that could be a dangerous search. Just recently, a list was released of the Top 10 "Most Dangerous" Bollywood celebs. The list doesn't refer to activities these celebrities do in everyday life, but instead to the fact that malicious sites often use their names to lure Internet users to their sites.

Katrina Kaif (pictured) currently tops the list at number one, while Aishwarya Rai is number 7. However, with the recent surge in Aishwarya Rai baby news, she may have become a more dangerous search. Other stars who rank on the list include Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, John Abraham, Aamir Khan, and Priyanka Chopra. Surprisingly, a heavyweight star like Salman Khan is not on this list.

A Senior Director from McAfee India added his thoughts on the dangerous searches saying, "In a celebrity crazy country such as India, cyber criminals find it very lucrative to use the names of popular figures as keywords to lure people to websites with malicious software." One would have to believe that the same is true in the United States, and that names like Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and Miley Cyrus might be among those used to lure web surfers to malicious sites.

It's true that Bollywood is big business, but did any of these celebrities ever expect to be called dangerous unless it was in an action/adventure movie role? Aishwarya Rai is probably one of the most popular Bollywood celebs on the planet lately, and one has to wonder if "Beti B," her young one will become a target of the malicious hackers trying to lure people to their sites. It's unfortunate that the Internet has evolved to become such a great source of information, but also hazardous on many levels!
